CAP - Community Access Program

CAP Industry CanadaSince 1995, the Community Access Program has brought computer and Internet technologies to Canadians across the country and has successfully achieved its objectives. This success would not have been possible without the support and participation of many partners.

Federal funding for the Community Access Program (CAP) ended on March 31, 2012. Industry Canada will continue to fund youth internships at community Internet sites, through the Community Access Program Youth Initiative (CAP YI). Former CAP-supported sites will remain eligible for this funding.

If you have been using a CAP site to access government services, you may wish to find a Service Canada site near you. Service Canada offers access to a wide range of Government of Canada programs and services through its 600 plus points of service across the country.

The LSPC was the North Network Coordinator for all CAP sites in the region.

The LSPC offers four computers for public use at our Victoriaville Centre CAP site. The site is open 10am to 4pm (closed for lunch 12pm to 1pm) Monday-Friday and closed on holidays.
