211 is an easy to remember, non-emergency phone number that provides quick access to information and referral to community, social, health and government services. It is always answered by a person and available 24 hours a day, seven days a week by phone or online.

Housing and Homelessness
The Lakehead Social Planning Council is the Community Entity for designated Reaching Home funds, the federal funding program for homelessness initiatives. The LSPC works collectively with the TBIFC, the Province, and numerous organizations to ensure that housing and homelessness issues are tackled collectively.
