Information Technology Committee Report

It has been an exciting year in Information Technology for the LSPC. We have purchased new equipment including a new server, two new workstations for the CAP site, and other equipment to help us improve the way we carry out our day to day tasks.

Additionally, we have been using our website to the fullest extent possible by including features like online registration for various workshops, online ordering for the Directory of Community Services, online surveys that compile results, and a calendar of events that keeps our membership current on upcoming events.

I invite everybody to visit www.lspc-circ.on.ca and now also www.lspc.ca. Our site has been very active and receives hundreds of page views daily.

The upcoming year holds much promise, as some of our objectives include publishing the CIRC Directory of Community online, utilizing the maximum potential out of our new server, and developing online mailing lists to keep our membership up to date regarding Social Planning Issues and the LSPC.
