Winter Warmth Program
Meeting all your financial commitments can sometimes mean that you find yourself a little short when the time comes to pay your natural gas bill.
There is assistance available. If you've recently had difficulty paying, or are concerned about making your next payment, the Winter Warmth program may be able to help.
Winter Warmth is coordinated and delivered to customers by United Way through a network of community agencies within Union Gas service area.
In your time of need, we can help
Winter Warmth is designed for low-income families and individuals living at, or below, the poverty line who have exhausted all other sources of financial support. Approved households may receive one grant (up to $500 maximum) each year.
When an application is approved, the funds will be credited directly to your Union Gas bill, giving you peace of mind and helping you get your natural gas bill back under control.
Who qualifies for Winter Warmth?
Winter Warmth funding is limited to individuals from low-income households who satisfy one or more of the following conditions:
- Have a Union Gas bill that is currently in arrears;
- Have recently received a disconnection notice;
- Are experiencing personal circumstances that make it difficult to pay a current natural gas bill.
